CYBER TOUR PRIVATE ROSE GARDENS
The following gardens are private residential gardens of members
of the Sacramento and Sierra Foothills Rose Societies. A few friends' garden
living elsewhere in the United States will also be included in the future.
These gardens are NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, however, if you happen to know
these rosarians they would probably welcome you with open arms especially
if you contact them ahead of time.

- VILLEGAS GARDEN,
ORANGEVALE, CA
- This private residential garden is located near Greenback
Ln and Hazal Av., in Orangevale, CA. The garden contains nearly
1000 roses of all types but with a strong representation of
Miniature, Hybrid Tea, and Floribunda roses. Being a regular
size city lot, the roses are planted very close together.

chemical intervention for insect and disease control. Most
of the roses included are modern exhibition roses.

HEIGHTS, CA

- MOE GARDEN, SEATTLE
AREA, WA
- This garden is located in the Seattle area of Washington.
Roses begin to bloom in this area in mid June. My trip in
early May 2002 was the first of many, The garden belongs to
John and Mitchie Moe, long time rosarians in the area. Mitchie
is a rose hybridizer and has introduced several roses in the
last 3 years. Some of her roses include "Dot.Com", Snow Bunny,
Mighty Moe, Marilyn Wellan, Vicky Adams, Miss Alice, and many
new ones in the horizon.
